For America's 250th anniversary, over 475 leaders from many spheres of influence will gather in Washington, DC to read the entire Bible aloud in a week-long event called "America Reads the Bible" in April. Dr. Scott Stripling joins Henry to discuss the history of the public reading of scripture, from during the Exodus in the Old Testament to the synagogues in the New Testament. Dr. Stripling also shares about their weekly public reading of scripture at the Bible Seminary, and how it has impacted their community.
