50 years ago, the United States welcomed refugees from Vietnam, many of which came to resettle in Pennsylvania. 1975 Vietnamese Refugees, Long and Huyen Tran, tell Jeff about their story. The refugee anniversary story continues with the Morning Light Panel, Ken Stambaugh, U.S. Army (Retired), and also Ken Funk who was a refugee host family.
Major General John Pippy talks about the history of refugees that were housed at Ft. Indiantown Gap, in Annville, PA. And Dr. Ut Michael Tran shares about his experience as being a refugee at Ft. Indiantown Gap. And Vietnamese Air Force pilot Chieu Le, talks about how he flew his helicopter and nearly two dozen refugees and landed on an American aircraft carrier while running out of fuel.
