Pilate asked Jesus life’s essential question: What is truth? As far back as 2002, according to a Barna research report, “a majority of American adults by a margin of 64% to 22% said that there are no moral absolutes and that truth is always relative to the person and the situation.” Research just weeks ago, - 20 years after the Barna research, indicated that over 90% of all Americans believe truth is what you make it to be and determined by how one feels! Sadly, the numbers are not statistically much better among those who self-identify as ‘born again’ or ‘evangelical. The consequences rejecting absolute truth as defined by God is not only harmful in the short-term, it is disastrous in the eternal. In today’s program, Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett will consider several aspects regarding the reality of truth. (original airdate 1-1-23)
