I think many of us have been fascinated by people who took the “road less traveled”—who chose the inconvenient life. People who chose to raise families under different rules, customs, cuisines, and even languages than most of their neighbors and friends. Men and women so committed that they’re willing to let God take the controls, called Missionaries. This week, Joe Watkins interview Mike Mowers, a missionary pilot for JAARS. JAARS is a community of full-time missionaries, dedicated volunteers, and a few employees who work together to accomplish the Great Commission goal of providing Scripture to every people group on earth in a language and form they clearly understand.
