The organization is the Pennsylvania Family Institute—a non-profit headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania—just blocks from the State Capitol. Their mission sounds anything but controversial: “To strengthen families by restoring to public life the traditional, foundational principles and values essential for the well-being of society. They exist to promote respect for life, family, marriage and religious liberty.” For over thirty years, one man has been the organization’s leader—and often the face in the media. His name is Michael Geer, and he joins Joe Watkins to talk about his life and work.
