In past episodes of State of Independence, we’ve taken you to Pennsylvania’s Capital City—Harrisburg—and then to a neighborhood known as “Allison Hill”. We’ll meet one of those bright lights making a difference for the people he loves and serves in the name of Jesus. Pastor Joshua Robertson serves The Rock Church on Allison Hill, in Harrisburg. He and his congregation breathed life into a historic church building in the center of a community hard hit by fatherlessness, abuse, addiction, depression, and despair. But Josh lives by his father’s life motto: “If I can help somebody as I pass along, then my living will not be in vain.” (Original Airdate 12-17-21)
