Today’s guest is Gary Sutton, longtime radio talk show host and someone who has been trying to mend the fences of the conversation during the time he’s been give on the airwaves.
Gary Sutton isn’t a provocateur. Far from it. He’s a former social studies teacher, who uses his airtime on WSBA in York, Pennsylvania as a classroom—not a wrestling ring.
But how does he hold an audience’s attention? Who wants to listen to a talkshow where no one is yelling or making fun of the other side? How do you get ratings for a program like that? What about advertisers?
The truth is that Gary’s show is interesting. It’s fast paced, but you don’t get whiplash. He allows you—the listener—to come to your own opinion—and he doesn’t mock you if you don’t share his.
