State of Independence
Praising the Good- Stutterers, Mockers and Kindness : State of Independence
28m
Dr. Gerald R. McDermott has lived an extraordinary professional life as a school principal, college professor, author, pastor and prolific author. Each of these assignments comes with the challenge to speak—often before large audiences. But not everyone who hears Dr. McDermott is aware that much of his early life was defined by a stutter. With determination, he faced his fears and God has used him in remarkable ways to serve others—not just those with the same life challenge. A few years ago, he released a wonderful book: “Famous Stutterers: Twelve Inspiring People Who Achieved Great Things While Struggling with an Impediment.”
