Representative David Rowe and Representative Andrew Lewis have a few things in common. They grew up in Christian homes— have been active in international missions—and both have real musical talent. And now, they’re even seatmates on the floor of the Pennsylvania House, seated just a few rows back from the front. So, when these two very likeable lawmakers showcased their musical talents to their social media feeds—reporters, lobbyists, and colleagues on both sides of the political divide took notice. On this episode of State of Independence, Joe Watkins talks with the Capitol’s “Piano Boys” at an education conference about ways they’re bringing their Christian witness into a sometimes cold and joyless environment. You won't want to miss this heartwarming conversation. (Original Airdate 12-3-21)
